About Us
Theta Phi Alpha is a national women’s social fraternity started in 1912, and is a member of the National Panhellenic Conference. The mission of Theta Phi Alpha encompasses far more than providing a social network for college women. For more than 100 years, the sisters of Theta Phi Alpha have maintained a history rich in educational excellence, professional achievement, and a deep commitment to social service.

Our Mission: To create close comradeship, to advance educational, social and philanthropic interests and leadership training; to encourage spiritual development and adherence to the highest moral standards; and to promote lifelong bonds of friendship.

Theta Phi Alpha at Rhode Island College is the Delta Epsilon chapter which currently has 33 active collegian members and over 90 supportive alumna. We focus on creating a close chapter through sisterhood, philanthropy, academics, fundraising, leadership, and more.

Hi my name is Fallon! I am the president of Theta Phi Alpha at Rhode Island College. I love being president of this chapter, because I am able to provide support to my amazing executive board. I am so lucky to call all of these ladies my best friends. I joined greek life because I love being able to engage in activities around campus, and love to be involved. This sorority has changed my life, and given me memories I will never forget.
Hi! Im Alyssa, the 2020 Vice President of Internal Affairs. I joined Theta Phi Alpha in the Fall of 2018 and have also been on Eboard as the Treasurer in the pas! Being part of an organization larger then myself has inspired me to do things may have been intimidated by a few years ago. Holding these leadership roles in Theta Phi and meeting so many people, within and outside of the organization, helped shape me into the strong confident woman I am today. I will forever cherish all the connections and friendships I have made along the way and I can't wait to see what our future holds.
Hi my name is Carrie! I am currently the Vice President of Standards. I was initiated into Theta Phi Alpha two years ago and I wouldn't trade it for anything! I met some of my best friends in Theta Phi Alpha and I'm truly blessed to be apart of something so amazing!
Hi my name is Michaela! I am the Vice President of Recruitment for Theta Phi. I am in charge of putting together formal recruitment for the fall and the informal recruitment for spring. I joined Theta Phi Alpha because I wanted to meet more people on campus. I not only found my forever home here at RIC but I found some of my best friends.
Hi my name is Brittany! I am the secretary and hospitality chair for Theta Phi. I maintain the chapters budget and oversee dues. I joined Theta Phi Alpha because I wanted to meet more people on campus. Being a commuter was hard, but I believed joining a sorority was the perfect way to meet new people. Theta Phi has given me new experiences, life long friendships, and another place to call home.
Hi everyone my name is Corinne and I am the New Member Educator for Theta Phi Alpha! I essentially educate the new members on our sorority and have a class with them once a week for six weeks! I am also in charge of planning Big Little reveal and retreat! I joined Theta Phi to have more ties to the RIC community with being a commuter and I found an amazing group of girls that have become my biggest support system.
Hi my name is Meghan! I am the Vice President of Academic Excellence for Theta Phi. I am in charge of grades for each semester and making sure everyone is in good academic standing in the chapter. I joined Theta Phi Alpha because I wanted to meet more people on campus. I not only found my forever home at RIC in Theta Phi Alpha, but memories and friendships I’ll have for a lifetime!!
Hi! My name is Jolie and I was initiated in fall of 18! I was once the VP of academic excellence and I’m currently the Secretary. The last 2 years in theta phi alpha have not only provided me opportunities for leadership but everlasting friendships and memories! I am forever grateful for this sisterhood.
